Choosing bouncy balls and outdoor games

Think about where the ball will bounce. Super high bounce balls are made for hard surfaces like driveways and courts, while soft foam and inflatable balls are kinder indoors and safer around windows and little siblings.

For open space, flying discs, boomerangs and UFO spinners turn a park into a game. Small bouncy balls are a classic party bag filler, but keep them away from under 3s. Mix with beach toys for summer, or see all outdoor toys.

What are bouncy balls made of?

High-bounce balls are usually made of solid rubber, while some novelty balls are foam or inflatable PVC. Our range covers glitter and glow-in-the-dark high-bounce balls, foam play balls and inflatable balls.

Are bouncy balls safe for toddlers?

Small bouncy balls can be a choking hazard for children under 3. For toddlers, choose larger soft or inflatable balls and always supervise play.

How do you make a bouncy ball?

DIY bouncy ball recipes use glue and other household ingredients and need adult help. For a ball that really bounces, a ready-made super high bounce ball is simpler and longer lasting.

What outdoor games are good for kids?

Flying discs, boomerangs, UFO spinners, table tennis and ball games are great for the backyard, park or beach. Multipacks make great party favours too.
