Ask a questionWhat are squishies made of?
Most squishies are made from soft polyurethane (PU) foam, which squeezes flat and slowly rises back. Others are made from gel or TPR, a stretchy rubber-like material that bounces back quickly, like our glitter bears.
What are slow-rising squishies?
Slow-rising squishies are foam squishies that take several seconds to puff back up after you squeeze them. Our PU dumpling squishies are the slow-rising kind, while TPR squishy animals spring back straight away.
Are squishies toxic or safe for kids?
Squishies are made to be squeezed, not chewed or eaten, so keep them away from children who still mouth toys. Small squishies can be a choking hazard for children under 3, so always check the age guidance on each product.
How do you clean a squishy?
Wipe it gently with a damp cloth and a little mild soap, then let it air dry. Don't soak foam squishies, as water can get inside and damage them. If a TPR squishy turns sticky, a light dusting of cornflour or baby powder helps.
How do you fix a squishy?
A small tear in a foam squishy can be sealed with a thin layer of clear craft glue or clear nail polish once it is clean and dry. A squishy that has gone flat or stopped rising has usually reached the end of its life and is ready to be replaced.
