Growing Pet Magic Rabbit Egg 6.5 x 4cm

This growing pet is a magic rabbit egg. Pop the grow egg in a glass of water and, over a day or two, the purple shell cracks open and a little white rabbit hatches out and keeps growing. At 6.5 x 4cm it is a small hatching egg toy with a real "wait and see" moment, and it sits nicely with our science kits. The egg design makes it a natural Easter or spring surprise, and the boxed egg is small enough to tuck into a basket or a party bag.

1. Put the egg in a glass or bowl and fill it with water until the egg is fully covered. Use water under 35°C (95°F).
2. Leave it to soak. After 12 to 24 hours the shell slowly cracks and the rabbit starts to push its way out. Keep the container topped up with water.
3. Once the shell has broken away completely, add fresh water. The rabbit is fully grown after about 48 hours (the box allows up to 72 hours from start to finish).
4. Move the growing rabbit to another container if you like, and check on it each day to see how it has grown.
